Qualified Staff

Nicola Berry has a BSc in Dementia Care and City and Guilds Advanced Care Management qualification. Beverley Gill the Manager is working towards a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management

Additionally all staff at The Hollies are specially trained on an on-going basis by our in-house training officer, and are qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in care. They also have a high degree of understanding of residents’ needs and wishes.

We encourage part-time working for staff which we have found gives residents a welcome change of face at certain times of the day. For added care, we provide a ‘key worker’ system, with each resident having a personal member of staff to monitor their care plan.
